About DL Sorley Tax Service

We are a tax and bookkeeping company, helping clients with their tax planning and preparation. We also assist small businesses with their accounting needs and processing payrolls for some of our smaller clients. Sorley Tax Service has been preparing taxes since 1967. We have always been a family owned and operated business, servicing the Plainfield, Avon, Mooresville, and surrounding Indianapolis areas.

We are continually educating ourselves with new tax codes. We are also converting to a cloud-based program for the coming tax year to serve clients better giving them the ability to have their taxes prepared without coming to our office. Of course, we always appreciate visits by our customers if they choose to do so.

A majority of the work we generally handle consists mainly of bookkeeping for construction companies. We have been around for over fifty years and take pride in preparing clients’ tax returns as if they were our own.

We work hard to keep our clients from paying any more taxes then they have to, without charging them an arm and a leg. We treat everyone as if they are our only client, not just someone looking to have their taxes handled which is why our customers enjoy working with us.

Our dream for the future is to continue growing. I am currently working on becoming an Enrolled Agent with the IRS which will give me the ability to represent our clients with the IRS should it be needed.
